Quicker task creation and other new features

HiTask now has features that will speed up your task management and to do list organization.

Specify Date/Time/Project/Tag without clicking

You can automate certain information when typing in the Task Title field. Dates, times, tags, and projects can all be designated in the Task Title, which means fewer clicks for you! 

For example, if you enter "Today 8am" in the Title

Your task will be automatically set to 8am!

You can specify projects and create tags when typing in the Task Title field, which means fewer clicks for you!

Tags:Add the hash mark '#' before a word that you want to associate the task with. Or, if there is not an existing tag, a new one will be made.

And a new tag is automatically created!

Projects: To add a task to an existing project, add the '@' mark and the Project Name within the Task Title.

And your new task is now in an existing project.

Number of open items

At the top of your web browser there is not a number in parathensis, eg.: HiTask (8), that show you how many active tasks you have assigned to you.

Create a new Project when making a new Task

Now, if you need to create a Project quickly, you can select "Create New Project" under the Project drop down box while creating or modifying a task.

Other changes

• Projects can now sorted alphabetically in Project Selection Lists
• New date format in Preferences:  YYYY-MM-DD
• Other minor fixes and improvements!
