New feature: task defaults

You can now set defaults for new tasks:

Shared or private (for Business accounts). Default is Private.
Assign to: select person whom tasks will be assigned to by default. Default is not assigned.

You can set these preferences in settings. Default values will be automatically selected when you create new items saving you time!
